Change of Address Scams

The Postal Service processes 121,452 address changes daily. Changing your address should be free in-person at your local post office or as little as $1.05 on USPS.com. But Postal Inspectors are finding that some postal customers paid more for a change of address on other websites. These sites can charge up to $40 to change the address and, in some cases, the changes never get made.

Change of address requests can be free. Watch to see how scammers get people to pay more than they need to.
