Detroit, MI: ROBBERY OF USPS LETTER CARRIER

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9”, late 20s, dark skin, slim to medium build, with short dread locks in his hair. The suspect was wearing black clothing and holding a black handgun. The suspect had a white shirt around his face. The driver is described as a light-skinned Black male with an afro. After committing the robbery, the suspects fled north on Artesian and made a right turn onto Constance in a black Hyundai four-door sedan, with no license plate and a dirty exterior. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects connected to the robbery of a United States Postal Service (USPS) letter carrier. The incident took place at approximately 3:25 p.m., on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in front of 8274 Artesian, Detroit, MI 48228.TAKE NO ACTION TO APPREHEND THESE PERSONS YOURSELF
