Detroit, MI: ARMED ROBBERY OF USPS LETTER CARRIER

The suspect was described as a dark-complexioned African American male wearing a dark hoodie, blue and black striped pajama pants, and a black neck gaiter. The individual was approximately 5'11" tall, in his 20s, weighing approximately 160 lbs. The weapon was described as a semiautomatic pistol, possibly colored green. After committing the robbery, the suspect ran eastbound on Eaton Avenue. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed a United States Postal Service (USPS) Letter Carrier at gunpoint. The incident took place at approximately 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in the 14600 block of Northlawn Street, Detroit, MI.TAKE NO ACTION TO APPREHEND THIS PERSON YOURSELF
