Silver Spring, MD: ROBBERY OF A LETTER CARRIER

The incident occurred at approximately 12:03 p.m. on August 12, 2025, the suspect was seen driving a 2009-2011 Silver Toyota Corolla with a missing hubcap on the driver side rear tire. The suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlocks, approximately 18-25 years old, and approximately six feet tall. He wore light colored khaki pants, and a long sleeve shirt. The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol, and should be considered armed and dangerous. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed a United States Postal Service (USPS) letter carrier near 14214 Castle Blvd., Silver Spring, MD 20904.TAKE NO ACTION TO APPREHEND THESE PERSONS YOURSELF
