On December 18, 2024, postal inspectors located the suspect’s vehicle at a hotel in Houston and identified one of the suspects as Cameron Tyler. Postal inspectors obtained and executed a search warrant on the suspect’s hotel room with assistance from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Crime Reduction Unit.
