Mail Theft and Fraud Fugitive Arrested in Houston
Houston, TX – On August 26, 2025, mail theft fugitive Jason Daniel Guerrero was arrested in Harris County, Texas by United States postal inspectors and officers with the Houston Police Department’s (HPD) Major Offenders Division and Southwest Tactical Team.
As part of a joint investigation with HPD, postal inspectors were surveilling Guerrero’s residence when they spotted him on a bicycle in the parking lot. Guerrero was wanted by postal inspectors and HPD for multiple mail theftincidents in Houston, Texas, during the month of July, 2025.
Upon his arrest, Guerrero was transported to the Harris County Jail and booked into custody on an active 1st degree felony mail theft warrant without incident. At the time of Guerrero’s arrest, he possessed approximately 13 stolen credit/debit cards with an estimated credit value of $6,500.
