Mail Theft Suspect Arrested in Humble, Texas
Humble, TX – On December 3, 2024, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to several instances of mail theft from USPS collection boxes in the Woodlands area of Humble, Texas. A vehicle was identified and found parked in front of an apartment building later determined to be the suspect’s residence. Postal inspectors assigned to Houston Division, along with special agents and troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety, executed a search warrant on the suspect’s apartment and vehicle.
The suspect, identified as Terrell Rice, was arrested on a warrant from a previous mail theft incident involving credit card abuse in Spring, TX. The search of the apartment and vehicle resulted in the seizure of recovered mail believed to be from USPS collection boxes in the Woodlands area and two USPS arrow keys.
