Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

New Orleans, LA – On December 16, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the New Orleans Police Department responded to an armed robbery of a USPS letter carrier in the 8400 block of Forshey Street, New Orleans, LA 70118.

The Postal Inspection Service along with our local law enforcement partners identified the suspect as Jody Harris. Harris has been arrested and charged with armed robbery along with other narcotics-related charges.

The Postal Inspection Service is continuing to work with the New Orleans Police Department during the investigation.
