this is a government look-alike scheme
and basically the mailings look like
they're from the government here is one
of the mailings the return address is
california labor compliance and the
business compliance Department than in
bold letters final notice problem there
is no such Department these mailings
looked official they use names that
included United States Trademark Office
you know one mailing claimed it would
cancel a business trademark if not paid
immediately immediacy is part of the
game threats to make people hurry up and
pay the funds inspectors say an astute
postal employee tipped them off to the
case after seeing more than 100 pieces
of mail arrived for a rented post office
box I just became suspicious because it
was just too much mail mailings were
