Santa Ana, CA: Postal Inspectors and SIGTARP and IRS-CI Agents investigated Aminullah “David” Sarpas and Samuel Paul Bain for participating in an “advance fee” scheme that caused over 1,600 homeowners more than $3.5 million in losses. Many victims later lost their homes to foreclosures.
